Occupational activities are all activities that human beings perform in their lives; the utilization of these activities is part of the Godoy & Godoy Method.
From the moment that the human being is an occupational being, the goal of treatment is to occupy the patient’s time in a ‘pleasurable’ way, i.e. to identify all the rewarding activities that can be performed. Healthy mind healthy body – it is important to seek a balance between physical and mental occupation. In this way, the occupation of the patient is fundamental, especially for women after breast cancer treatment. This therapeutic strategy reduces depression in these women, thus it is a way of improving not only the physical, but also the psychological and social aspects of the patient’s life.
